1. Acceptance and scope
By accessing EESIoT, users accept these terms and the applicable agreement between EES Corporation and their organization. A specific service agreement prevails in case of conflict. EESIoT is a business platform for monitoring, asset management, operational information and notifications.
2. Authorized access
Accounts are personal and may only be used for purposes authorized by the customer organization. Users must protect credentials, keep information current and promptly report suspected access. The organization manages users, roles, sites and permissions.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not compromise, interfere with, reverse engineer or bypass security controls.
- Do not upload malicious code, unlawful data or content that violates third-party rights.
- Do not use EESIoT alarms or data as the sole life-safety or emergency shutdown mechanism.
- Verify critical information before making operational decisions.
4. Customer data and responsibilities
The customer retains its rights in submitted or generated data and is responsible for authorization, users, rules, alarms, recipients and retention. EES may process data to provide, secure and support the service under the agreement and privacy policy.
5. Availability and integrations
Availability may depend on Internet, power, sensors, controllers, networks, customer servers and third parties. EES may maintain, update or suspend risky access. Service levels, support, backup and recovery are governed by the applicable proposal or agreement.
6. Intellectual property
EES and its licensors retain rights in the platform, software, interfaces, documentation, marks and improvements. A subscription grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the contracted service; it does not transfer software ownership.
7. Charges, suspension and termination
Pricing, taxes, terms, limits, renewals and payments follow the applicable quotation or agreement. EES may limit or suspend service for breach, nonpayment, abuse or security risk, subject to applicable commercial terms.
8. Limitations and changes
EESIoT supports decisions but does not replace safety, maintenance, compliance or professional supervision. To the extent allowed by law, responsibilities and remedies are limited by the applicable agreement. We may update these terms and will publish the effective date.
